SNYDER, Mildred Lucille (Egan) - Age 97, of Linden, died Thursday, November 24, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, November 28, 2005 at the Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St., Fenton, Pastor Daniel Wallace officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association. Mildred was born August 12, 1908 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of William and Lily (Jagger) Egan. She graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in Kansas City. She was an Army Nurse retiring with the rank of Captain. She married Charles Snyder on March 6, 1946, he preceded her in death August 28, 1966. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. Surviving are: daughter, Ann Snyder-Manson and husband David Manson of Linden; granddaughter, Amy and husband Todd Chamberlain; grandson, Matthew Strodel, all of Ann Arbor; three great-grandchildren, Evan, and twins Lily and Noah. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles; and her six brothers and sisters.
