Moises Lomelin

LOMELIN, Moises - Age 64, of Port Huron formerly of Flint, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 8, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Moises Lomelin Memorial Fund. Mr. Lomelin was born December 19, 1945 in Southland, TX, the son of Pedro and Manuela (Cardenas) Lomelin. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He married Sharon (Adams) Hritz March 17, 2000 in Flint and she preceded him in death December 22, 2005. Mr. Lomelin retired in 1999 from GM Truck and Bus after 28 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 598. Surviving are: 7 children, Tony and wife Demecha Lomelin of Arlington, TX, Felicia Lomelin of Missouri, Jason and wife Jessica Lomelin of South Dakota, Zachary Lomelin of Flint, Amanda Lomelin of Las Vegas, NV, Shaun Lomelin of Las Vegas and Thomas and wife Evie Kelling of South Dakota; stepson, Adam Hritz of Flint; 10 grandchildren, Sarah, Yasmine, Yabrille, Ashton and Savannah Hritz; Dominic, Demecio and Paityn Lomelin; Jason Lomelin, Jr. and Jonica Lomelin; brother, George Lomelin of Big Springs, TX; step brother, Benjamin Lomelin of Lubbock, TX.
