Norma Laine

LAINE, Norma, age 73 died Monday, October 8, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Grand Rapids, MN on November 21, 1933 the daughter of Toivo and Delia (Bagger) Muotka. She graduated in 1951 from Greenway High School in Coleraine, MN. She married Douglas Laine on June 22, 1952. They have resided in Flint since 1957.  Surviving is her devoted husband, Douglas, her loving three sons; Scott and Jeffrey both of Flint and Gary of Moorpark, CA,  and her dear grandchildren;  Kersten, John and Sarah.  Further survivors are her 2 brothers; Marvin of Coleraine, MN and David of Spokane, WA.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gerald. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc Twp. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 A.M until service time Thursday. Mrs. Laine will then be taken to the Peterson Funeral Home in Coleraine, MN where a burial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine.
