Olive Coquigne

COQUIGNE, Lucy Olive - of Swartz Creek, died Monday, August 11, 2008, two weeks before her 102 birthday. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden with Pastor Kay Adair officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Mundy Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Coquigne was born August 27, 1906 in Gaines, the daughter of Elmer J. and Olive (Wykes) Smith. She married Silas E. Coquigne on September 14, 1932 and he preceded her in death on June 25, 1991. Mrs. Coquigne retired from the Flint Board of Education Mott Program in 1972.
