SERICH, Patricia (Plummer) - age 79, of Harrison, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011. Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Chaplain Lowell Gisel officiating. Interment will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 2 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Humane Society. She was born August 24, 1932 in Swartz Creek the daughter of Jay and Elsie Plummer. She retired from Fisher Body Coldwater Road in 1987 with 36 years of service. Surviving are: son Greg Jr. and wife Mary of Swartz Creek; daughter Jayanna Confer of Warren; three grandchildren Jacob Lambert of Warren; Megan and David Confer of Flint; sister June Vincent of Pontiac; best friend Greg Serich Sr.; special friend Greg Shefferly. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Phyllis, Rosalie, and Gloria; and brothers Verdan, Harold, and Duane. The family extends a special thanks to Heartland Hospice for all they did.
