Patsy Smith

June 17, 1931 — July 10, 2015

Smith, Patsy (McGehee) formerly of Mears, Michigan age 84 went to be with the Lord Friday July 10, 2015 at home with her daughter Paula Smith of Flint. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held Saturday August 1, 2015, 11am, at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church 13667 W. Highland Rd Hartland Michigan 48353. Pastor Christopher Thoma officiating. 9am-10am Family visitation, 10-11 friends. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make Memorial contributions to Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church. Patsy was united in marriage January 14, 1950 to Paul Leon Smith who preceded her in death May 5, 2011. Patsy was the youngest of three daughters born June 17, 1931 to Chester Field and Lucille (Brewster) McGehee. She was preceded in death by her sisters Mabel Corbin and Gloria Silvers. Patsy was retired from Fenton Schools where she drove school bus, but also worked AC Spark Plug in Flint, the former A.C.E./ACO Hardware in Grand Blanc/Fenton, and owned the former McGehee's Closet Lampshades and Antiques in Dibbleville, Fenton. She continued working out of her home, designing and creating lamp shades. Surviving are : daughters Pam Raymond of Linden (Roy), Paula Smith of Flint (Tom Talt), sons Chris Smith (Bev) of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, and Carey Smith (T.Malea) of Linden. Grandchildren: Dylan Raymond (Danielle) of Ann Arbor, Jon Raymond (Amy) of Linden, Mia Chapman (Matthew) of Linden, Jeremy Raymond (Katlyn Watroba) of Grand Rapids, Brian Smith (Tess Narciso) of Winter Garden, Florida, Derrick Smith (Tina) of Buford, Georgia, Carl Smith (fiance Shanon Wooley) of Fenton, Samantha Kelley (Jeremy) of Ann Arbor, Randy Smith of Canton, Michigan. Great grandchildren:Wyatt, Owen and Caleb Raymond, Connor, Parker, Landon, and Amelia Raymond, Anna and Ryan Chapman, Aiden and Gaven Smith, Mason Rice and Fiona Kelley.
