Paul ASPERGER

ASPERGER, Paul - Age 91, of Flint Twp., died Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Monday, June 28, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. Paul was born October 3, 1918 in Caro, Michigan, the son of George and Mary (Kreps) Asperger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Mr. Asperger retired from General Motors the old Ternstedt Plant in 1981. He was a member of American Legion Post #342 and U.A.W. Local #326. Surviving are: daughters, Marie (Charles) Vat of Brown City, Kathy (Todd) Standfest of Flushing; 6 (six) grandchildren; 10 (ten) great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Poppy of Caro; & many, many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Dusute); sons, Charles Paul (Chuck) and William Roy "Billy"; six brothers and a sister, and girl friend Yvonne Town.
