COMAROMI, Paul -- Age 79, of Fenton, died December 24, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, December 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, concluding with an Honor Guard service under the auspices of Fenton V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post 3243. Visitation will be 2-5 and 7-9 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association. Mr. Comaromi was born May 3, 1928 in Tuscola County the son of John and Jenny (Prysbik) Comaromi. He had resided in Fenton for 50 years. He was married to Maxine Morton and she has preceded him in death. Mr. Comaromi was a retired member of the I.B.E.W. 948 Electrical Workers Union. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy was a member of V.F.W. Curtis Wolverton Post 3243 and their Honor Guard. Surviving are: special companion Patricia Phelps of Fenton; three children Paula and husband T.J. Whalen of Fenton, Lynn and husband J.R. Richardson of Flint, Dan Comaromi of Alabama; three grandchildren, Tim, Jason, and Chelsea; brother, Robert Komaromi of Florida; sister Julia Hoard of Flushing; several nieces and nephews; Pat's children, Bonnie and husband Ron Kile of Fenton and their family, Pete and wife wife Marleen Phelps of Byron and their family. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert and John; sister, Mary. The family extends a special thanks to Dr. Stephanie Whisiker Lewis and the Genesys staff.
