LATVA, Paul -- Age 56, of Flushing, died April 22, 2012 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, April 26 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing, Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be 1-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with a 7 PM Rosary on Wednesday, and 10 AM until the time of service at the church on Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Paul Latva Memorial Fund. Paul was born July 8, 1955 in Detroit the son of Arthur Edward Latva and Arlene Anita (Salsini) Latva. He grew up in Dearborn. He married Deena Miller on May 11, 2002 in Flushing. He had worked for the Genesee County Humane Society and was currently working at Patsy Lou. He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Surviving are: wife Deena; two brothers, John (Camille) Latva of Greenville, MI, Mark Latva of Manistique, MI; mother-in-law, Janis King; father-in-law, John (Maureen) Miller; sisters-in-law, LeeAnne (John) Lansdale, Debbie (John) Tomaszewski; twelve nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets Mickey and Abbey.
