BIESMAN, Pauline - Age 101, of Flint, died Saturday, March 24, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 26, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek with Rabbi Karen Companez officiating. Interment will follow at Machpelah Cemetery. Shiva will be held 7 PM Monday and Tuesday at her son Dr. Morley Biesman's residence. Contributions may be made to Congregation Beth Israel. She is survived by 2 sons, Dr. Morley Biesman of Flint and Sherwin F. Biesman of Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Dr. Brian and wife Dina Biesman and their children Abigail, Adam and Michelle of Nashville, TN, Sheryl Biesman of Los Angeles, CA, Jeffrey and wife Jonine Biesman and their children Megan, Julia and Joshua of West Lake Village, CA, Marc and wife Amy Biesman and their children Lane and David of Plano, TX; granddaughter, Lynn Biesman; She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Peter Biesman. Mrs. Biesman was born April 15, 1910 in Bay City, the daughter of Monas and Leah Goldberg. She married Paul Phillip Biesman January 17, 1930 in Flint and he preceded her in death February 26, 1970. Mrs. Biesman volunteered at the Red Cross during WWII rolling bandages, she worked at the voting polls and was very active at the Synagogue where she started the rummage sales.
