Ralph Lockhart

LOCKHART, Ralph - age 93, of Clio, died Wednesday, July 25, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Mr. Lockhart was born October 27, 1912 in Wellington Tank, MI, the son of William and Emmadine (Cole) Lockhart. He married Mildred Sutton on May 29, 1937 in Angola, IN. Mr. Lockhart was a 1932 graduate of Flint Central High School. He retired from GM in 1975 in Skilled Trades as a Welder. He worked at Fischer I and the Grand Blanc Tank Plant. He was a member of the U.A.W Local 591 and was an original sit-down striker. Surviving are: wife, Mildred of Clio; brother-in-law, Norm Sutton; two sisters-in-law, Mary Sutton and Helen Stratton; several nieces and nephews.
