HOLT, Ray - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday July 14, 2016. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00AM Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at St. Mary Queen of Angels, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Father Louise Ekka celebrant. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 5:30PM-8:00PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will also be held 10:00AM until time of mass at the church on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Ray was born October 6, 1926 in Cypruseen, Tennessee, the son of the late Masten and Joanna (Moore) Holt. He married Mary Helen Primer in 1949 and she preceded him in death on May 17, 1990. Mr. Holt then married Charleen (Stefaniak) Miller on July 23, 1993 in Swartz Creek and she preceded him in death on November 21, 2015. Ray enjoyed gardening, farming and working. Mr. Holt was a long time member of the Swartz Creek Masonic Lodge #458. He retired from the Fisher Body Ternstedt Division with 30 years of service. Surviving are: daughters, Rosemary Stacey, Ruth Ann (Ron) Sexton, Linda (Mike) Carsten, Joyce Holt; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister Crystal Holt; and Charleen's children and grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Stacey. Online condolences may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
