Ray Oliger

OLIGER, Ray Gene, age 73, of Fenton, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at home. Funeral services will be 11AM Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Jeff Switzer officiating. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home. Ray was born March 20, 1934 in Formosa, Arkansas the son of Herman and Elsie (Honeycutt) Oliger and married Gladys Spoor in 1956. He retired from the City of Flint after 25 years of employment. Ray loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife Gladys of Fenton; 2 sons, Glenn Oliger (Kim) of Fenton, Gary Oliger (Debbie) of St. Helen; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Betty Presley and Linda Jo White both of Harrison, Arkansas; step-mother, Glenna Mae Oliger of Damascus, Arkansas.
