MANSUETI, Robert "Bob" - Age 58, of Linden, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, December 31, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Thursday from 5-9 PM, Friday from 1-4 and 5-9 PM and at church Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. A vigil and K of C service will be held at the funeral home 7:00 PM Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Fenton Knights of Columbus Fenton Council #7418. Bob was born February 21, 1953 in Sewickley, PA, the son of Lenio and Mary (Biancucci) Mansueti. He was a 1971 graduate of Lake Fenton High School. He married Janie Franks January 12, 1974 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. He was employed by VG's Food Centers for 42 years. Bob was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, member, officer and trustee of the K of C Fenton Council #7418 and the 4th Degree Assembly # 2031. He also was the past president and member of the Davison Kiwanis Club, member of the Davison Chamber of Commerce and was active with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Bob was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Tiger fan. Surviving are: wife, Janie; 3 children, Angela and husband Vince Haiss of Fenton, Robert Mansueti, Jr. of Fenton and Samantha and husband Corey Garbutt of Northville; 3 grandchildren, Joey, Wyatt and Mary; mother, Mary Mansueti of Fenton; sister, Toni and husband Paul Bowsher of Linden; father-in-law, Ted Franks, Sr. of Fenton; 2 brothers-in-law, Ted Franks, Jr. and wife Phyllis of Mio and Rick and wife Pat Franks of Holly; sister-in-law, Judy Franks of Flint; aunt, Vilma and husband Delio Barletta of Fenton; uncle, Chuck and wife Bev Franks of Mio; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lenio Mansueti. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the nursing staff on the 2nd floor South at Genesys Health Park for there support and help.
