McWHORTER, Roger Dale - Age 62, of Flint, died March 9, 2007 at Brian's House Hospice. Funeral Services will be 6 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Township. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Monday. A Benefit Dinner will be 4 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Caboose Lounge. Donations are accepted. Roger was born January 8, 1945 in Guntersville, AL, the son of David Byron McWhorter and Elsie Louise (Jones) McWhorter. He owned Roger's Truck and Auto in Flint. Surviving are: 7 children, Roger (Donna) Bauer, David McWhorter, Frank Danek, Kathleen Gillies, James Bauer, John (Lisa) Kirk, Debra (Chris) Shaw; 16 grandchildren, Zach, Katie, Eric, David, Brittany, Staci, Traci, Ashley, Joey, Alyssa "Monkey", Amanda, Austin, Kristy, Karrie, Heather, and Dylan; special friends, Willie B., Sandy and Don, Winston, Shirley and Lavon,  Hank, Dave and Shirley, Red and Jane and many more family and friends.
