Ron EASTERWOOD

EASTERWOOD, Ron - Age 69, of Flint Twp., died November 29, 2012. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, December 3, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8PM Saturday, 1-4 and 6-8PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to The Audubon Society or Arbor Day Foundation. Ron was born January 7, 1943 in Sheffield, AL, the son of Archie and Minnie Mae (Foshee) Easterwood. Ron served in the Michigan National Guard. He retired from General Motors, Chevrolet Metal Fab in 1993 with 32 years of service. He loved hunting, fishing, drag racing and motorcycle racing. Surviving are: children, Rodney (Lisa) Easterwood, Sheryl Easterwood (Troy Watson); grandson, Cameron Douglas Bell; special nephew, Daniel (Michelle) McKim; sisters, Lucille Weissend, Wynell Marvin, Vickie (Griff)Stegall; brothers-in-law, Bob Zachary and John White; several nieces and nephews.
