Ronald BALL

BALL, Ron - age 70, of Durand, passed away at Genesys Health Park on August 12, 2013. Funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Vernon. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday and 12PM until time of service Thursday, at the funeral home. Ron was born March 25, 1943 to Robert and Ruby (Willard) Ball. He married Raylene Wortman on December 2, 1961 in Argentine, MI. Ron retired form Allied Automotive Group in 2000 after 27 years in car hauling. Ron was a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary of Durand as well as the Durand Eagles. He enjoyed John Deere and Harley Davidson. Ron is survived by: wife, Raylene; children, Randall of Durand, Roxanne (Todd) Klenk of Linden, and Russell (Jodi) of TN; grandchildren, Rhonda, Sydney, Jessica, Anthony, Samantha, Ryan and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Hailey and Julius; brother, Richard (Leanna) and sister, Ruth Ann and many nieces nephews, aunts and cousins.
