Rosabelle DREASKY

DREASKY, Rosabelle - age 87, of Flint, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013. Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Go Red for Women - American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX. Mrs. Dreasky was born February 26, 1926 in Birch Run, the daughter of George Ceymour and Mary Allison (MacDonald) Irvine. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School where she was active in windmill pitch softball. She married Lyle Raymond Dreasky on March 8, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Dreasky was a member of the former Flint Park UNited Methodist Church. She drove for car dealer trades for many years and enjoyed traveling and buying, selling and trading antiques. Surviving are: daughter, Deanna (Gary) Carper of Santa Fe, TN; two grandchildren, Dustin Carper and Renee (Kevin) Hubbard; brother-in-law, Eddie (Kathy) Young; sister-in-law, Mamie (Frank) Maxwell; best friend, Margaret (Wes) Bowen; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, David; two brothers; five sisters; three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
