Ruth Dye

DYE, Ruth K. - Age 80, of Bonita Springs, FL passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007. She was born March 27, 1927 in Flint the daughter of John and Mary (DeMoines) O'Kelly. She moved to Bonita Springs, FL 34 years ago from Flint. Mrs. Dye was a member of both the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She loved working with ceramics and also enjoyed shelling and flower gardening. Surviving are her loving children, Deborah K. (Steve) Lane of Bonita Springs, FL, and John J. (Nancy) O'Kelly of Ft. Myers, FL; sister, Margaret Barkley of Swartz Creek; brothers, Fred O'Kelly of Grayling, Gerry O'Kelly of Flint and Joe DeMoines of Flint; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 1:00PM at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.
