Ruth Stine

STINE, Ruth, age 77, of Flint, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 2PM Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Frank Yount officiating. Visitation will be 2-8PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family. Ruth was born December 28, 1930 in Tampa, Florida the daughter of Claude A. and Hazel Irene (Chastain) Kyle. She was married to Charles Elmer Stine who preceded her in death. Ruth was a member of Fenton Road Missionary Baptist Church and attended Genesee Road Church of God. She was the owner of Marie Lynn Beauty Salon for 30 years. Surviving are her 3 daughters, Janina Thomas and husband, Virgil of Burton, Claudia Shrum of Flint, Robin Gill of Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother, Robert Kyle of Tampa, FL; 2 nephews, Mark and Michael Kyle of Tampa, FL; adopted daughter, Krissy Schmidt of Clio; best friends, Joanne Sharrow of Flint and Betty Stephen of Tampa.
