Saul Begley

BEGLEY, Saul -- Age 74, of Fenton, died Friday, August 31, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, September 4 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, David Lunsford officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, 1-8 PM Monday. Mr. Begley was born November 2, 1932 in McKee, KY, the son of John B. and Elsie (House) Begley. He had resided in Fenton for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was married to Irene in 1954 and she preceded him in death in 1993. He was married to Opal in 2000. Mr. Begley retired from Chevrolet Metal Fab in 1996 and was a member of U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are: wife Opal; 3 children, Kenneth and wife Debra of Flint, Stephen and wife Laurie of Fenton, Joyce Stephen of Flint; 3 step-children, Tracy and husband Andy Leary of Durand, Lori and husband Ken Gregory of Gaylord, Brian Jackson of Fenton; 4 grandchildren, Todd, Kevin, Tyler and Kaitlyn; 3 step-grandchildren, Eric, Donovan, and  Peter; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyler, Keith, Kaleb, Kloe, and Kristina; sister, Lucy Walters; brothers, Elmer, Bill, J.B. and Herschel.
