CAMPBELL, Shirley Mae- Age 82, of Owosso our beloved mother, grandmother, sister-in-law passed away Tuesday October 25, 2016 at Heartland Hospice-Fostrian in Flushing. Funeral arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Shirley was born August 23, 1934 to the late George E. and Ellen (Robideau) Stafford. Shirley married Harold "Ray" Campbell on December 18, 1950. Ray preceded her in death on March 18, 2004. Shirley attended Northern High School, loved her pet dogs and cats, loved to read, was a member of woman's investment club, volunteered at Swartz Creek Senior Center, she liked music, going dancing, and her travels included a trip to Italy. Shirley's greatest achievement was raising her three children. Cherishing her memory are sons, Scott Campbell (Martha Rogers), Keith (Veronica) Campbell, daughter, Karen Campbell (Pete Schubel); grandchildren, Corey Campbell, Stewart Donaldson, Callie (Ryan) Flores, Kyle Campbell, Keith Campbell Jr., Patrick Donaldson, and Jason Rock; sisters-in-law, Gerry Stafford, Joan (Russell) Brindle, Shirley Oistad; brother-in-law, Ray Swift; many nieces and nephews. Shirley was pre-deceased by four brothers, George C. Albert, Ervin, Kenneth "Cliff"; two sisters, Roberta Beers and Mildred "Mickey" Barton. Shirley is a Daughter of the American Revolution descendant (Stafford, Irish, Cleveland) and descendant of the Canada's King's Daughter, Jeanne Denot (and Andre Robidou). According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Saturday. Shirley has a marker at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
