Steven Pogue

POGUE, Steven I., age 58 of Swartz Creek, died died Saturday, June 9, 2007 at home surrounded by his loving family after a  long and courageous battle with cancer.  Steve was born in Detroit on July 27, 1948 the son of Ira and Margaret (Reynolds) Pogue.  He has lived in the Swartz Creek area for many years.  Steven was a Civil Engineer employed by Tetra Tech, Inc. for the past 25 years. He thoroughly enjoyed his lake home on Lake Charlevoix along with boating and riding his Harley.  Surviving is his loving wife, Rachel (Baggett) Pogue; his daughter, Heather Hall and husband James of Rochester, MI; his son, Eric Pogue of Royal Oak, MI.  Further survivors are his grand-daughters, twins Kiera and Ava and grand-daughter, Brooke along with his father, Ira Pogue of Port Austin, MI and brother, James Pogue of Warren, MI and several nieces and nephews.Steve's family will receive visitors at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Rd. Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek on Wednesday from 1 to 9 P.M. and Thursday from 8 to 11 A.M. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 14, 2007. Burial will take place at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in East Jordan, MI on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M.
