Stewart Figioli

FIGIOLI, Stewart William - Age 59, of Fenton, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Genesys Health Park, Grand Blanc.  A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Pastor Donald Neuville officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9 PM Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Stewart W. Figioli Memorial Fund, to be donated to the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center.  Stew was born July 15, 1947 in Flint, the son of Paul Joseph, Sr. and Dolores (Brynteson) Figioli.  He had resided in the Fenton area his entire life.  He was a graduate of Lake Fenton High School; He received a Bachelor from University of Michigan-Flint and then his PhD from Wayne State University.  He retired from Linden Community Schools in 2002 after 30 years of service.  He was currently a counselor for the Manetee School System, Naples, FL.  Surviving are 2 sons, Pax and wife Stephanie Figioli of Fenton, Chris Figioli of San Diego, CA; he was expecting his first grandchild; life companion, Barbara Simms of Fenton; mother, Dolores Figioli of Estero, FL; brother, Paul, Jr. and wife Deborah Figioli of Fenton; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Figioli, Sr.  Friends may share their online condolence or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
