Lamb, Suzanne Elizabeth - Age 62, of Flint., was received into the arms of the Lord Thursday, May 9, 2013 . Services will be held 2PM Monday, May 13, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church of Flint, 746 S. Saginaw St., Flint. Lay Pastor Steve Baillie officiating. Funeral arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Flint, Board of Deacons Neighborhood Meals Fund. The Family is requesting no gifts of flowers. Suzanne was born in Flint, the daughter of Alan Bassett and Marjorie Elizabeth (Main) Shepherd. Suzanne loved spending time with her grandsons by taking each out to lunch on their birthday and making special 'one on one' time for them. She answered to the names Daugher, Sister, Mother, Suzie, Suzie-Q, but to her four grandsons she was 'Little Grandma'. Cooking and baking were also great loves of hers. You could often find her making special recipes for those most important in her life, even if it included the dreaded carob chips. Many memories of singing, music in the car and dancing around the house will fill her daughter's heart. Her daughter will forever remember that 'The Beat Goes On'. Suzanne is forever remembered as the best friend her big brother ever had. She was greatly loved and enjoyed by her family. Suzanne's mother will never forget her loving sense of humor which included Suzanne affectionationly calling her 'George'. She retired from Genesee County with 19 years of service. Suzanne was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church and its Sarah Circle. Surviving are: mother, Marjorie Shepherd of Flint; daughter, Stephanie (Lony) Smith of Flint; grandsons, Brandon Lewis (19), Austin Ray (18), Zachary Alan (14), and Joshua William (13), also all of Flint; brother, William Nelson (Cindy) Shepherd of Lake Ann, MI; nieces, Marie Elizabeth Carter of Fenton, Kaitlyn Mary Shepherd of Lake Ann, MI; great nieces and nephew, Elizabeth Anne Carter, Daniel E Carter and Hannah Joy Carter. She was preceded in death by her father Alan Bassett Shepherd on August 9, 1998. Suzanne was always thinking of others, she was a donor to the Michigan Eye Bank. The Family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Henry P. Mendoza and his staff for their loving and professional care. Also, Dr. James T.
