LEGAULT, Thomas Roy, Jr. - age 84, of Linden, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Friday, February 27, 2009 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-5 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Thursday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. John G.I.F.T. Campaign. Mr. LeGault was born October 21, 1924 in Rogers City, the son of Thomas Roy and Ruth (McKenzie) LeGault, Sr. He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. Mr. LeGault married Virginia Delecki on September 7, 1946. He retired from General Motors in 1988 after 45 years of service. Mr. LeGault was member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Fenton VFW Curtis Wolverton Post 3243; The Knights of Columbus, Loyal Order of the Moose #430, all in Fenton, the American Legion and Elks Lodge in Venice, FL. Surviving are: wife, Virginia; three children, Sandra and husband, Dan Albert of Charlotte, NC; Michael LeGault of Fenton, Dawn and husband, Dwayne Davidson of Fenton; son, Michael Lowe; and son-in-law, Denny Lutz; 11 grandchildren, David, Kari, Danielle, Kristine, Michael Ryan, Michael Dennis, Kristen, Katherine, Molly, Connor and Dylan; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Don LeGault and wife, Sidney; sister, Donna Ferens; several nieces and nephews. His daughter, Linda Lutz preceded him in death. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
