Tom Moorman

MOORMAN, Tom James - age 75, of Fenton, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at his residence with his daughters by his side. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Minister Mark Aites officiating. Visitation will be held 12 PM until the time of service Wednesday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesys Hospice. Tom was born June 6, 1933 in Fenton, the son of Pete and Laura (Butler) Moorman. He was a graduate of Fenton High School where he played football. Tom married Nancy S. Senter on July 25, 1953 and she preceded him in death in 1995. Tom retired from the City of Fenton Fire Department after 36 years of service. He was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ and enjoyed all his friends there at church. Surviving are: two daughters, Cindy (Robert) Maksymowski, Gail (Dan) Ewing, all of Fenton; six grandchildren, Bobby, Matt, Jessie (Kelly), Sharon (Jon), Mike and Andy; two great-grandchildren, Rylie and Jenna; sister, Alice Farner of Holly.
