Verla Wheeler

Wheeler, Verla F., age 77, of Clio, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2008. A memorial service will be held 4 PM Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to service.  Verla was born in New Madrid, Missouri the daughter of Harold and Lula Belle (Keene) Higgerson.  She had retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. Surviving are her son, Norman "Doug" Hartle of Vermilion, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Lenhart of Grand Blanc, Jenna Hartle of Waterford; a sister, Freeda LeGrand of Clio; a brother, Harold Higgerson Jr. of New Madrid, MO.; numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and daughters, Theresa and Deborah Lenhart. brother Kenneth Higgerson, and sister Emma Coburn.  Those desiring may share online condolences or post a tribute at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
