RUSS, Wilahmenia - Age 92, of Flint, died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 16, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Rev. Audrey Charlton officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Wilahmenia Russ Memorial Fund. Mrs. Russ Was born March 28, 1919 in Flint, the daughter of Deko and Armenia (Gee) Meoak. She married Wilfred Russ January 11, 1936 and he preceded her in death June 29, 1975. She was a member of Brown Street Church. Mrs. Russ had resided in Flint her entire life. Surviving are: daughter, Melba Minor of Flint; 16 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 40 great great grandchildren; sister, Doris Gibson of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
