Willnetta SHAW

SHAW, Willnetta "Willie", age 80, of Burton, died peacefully Thursday, September 20, 2012 at Genesys Health Park after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held 3:00PM Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Burton Senior Citizens Center, 3410 S. Grand Traverse, Burton. The family will welcome friends at 1:00PM to share memories of our dear Willie. In Lieu of Flowers, contributions may be made to the Burton Senior Center. Willnetta was born on June 13, 1932 in Dexter, MO to Louie and Topsy Horton. She was a talented lady who taught line dancing and crafts at Burton Senior Center and the Brennan Center, Flint. She is survived by her loving husband, Eugene "Mike" Shaw; sister, Georgia Thompson; many nephews and nieces and a host of friends.
