Friedrich Ried

RIED, Friedrich "Fritz" - Age 91, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018. A funeral mass will be held 11AM Monday, December 10 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be held 10AM Monday until time of mass at the church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, our temporary location at Hill Creek Church 5363 Hill Rd., Swartz Creek (Mundy Township). Fritz was born November 22, 1927 in Germany the son of the late Alois and Margaret (Walker) Ried. He married Irene A. Bierl on March 2, 1957 in Flint and she preceded him in death on November 3, 2018. Fritz came to America in 1954. He was a residence of Swartz Creek with his wife Irene and worked for General Motors as a Die Maker retiring in 1985. Surviving are: son, Ron Ried of Flint ; several cousins and friends .
