LESHCHINSKAYA, Ida - Age 83, of Flushing. died April 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Friday, April 19, 2019 at Temple Beth El, 5150 Calkins Rd., Flint. Rabbi Jeff Ableser will officiate. Burial will follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to Temple Beth El, 5150 Calkins Rd., Flint, MI 48532. Ida was born January 8, 1936 in Tiraspol, Russia, the daughter of Mark and Vilena (Zeltser) Leshchinsky. She was married to Iosif Shkolnik on February 17, 1961; he preceded her in death on March 17, 2019. Ida taught piano for over 25 years at the Flint Institute of Music, U of M Flint and Temple Beth El. She is survived by her son, Ilia Shkolnik; nieces, Rita Kleyman and Yelena Shteynvil.
