Joann Tornai

Tornai, JoAnn - Age 72, of Flint, on January 16, 2019, left her physical body behind and has moved on. Services will be held 6:30 Monday January 21 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be 4PM Monday until time of service at the funeral home.Those desiring may make contributions to the JoAnn Tornai Memorial Fund courtesy of Sharp Funeral Homes. JoAnn was born May 24, 1946 in Flint the daughter of Clyde and Millicent (Crider) Rogers. She was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1964. She was very talented with crafts especially needlepoint. She also enjoyed traveling. Surviving are: daughter Lisa ( Steve) Williams; grandchild, Alexandra Williams, all of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law, Ronnie Howdyshell; Ivonna Molina , who was like a daughter to JoAnn; special nephew, Mike Shur; cousins, Pat Overaitis, Sandra Lea; sister-in-law, Pat Leavitt; close friends whom she cherished, Margaret Ann Ratliff and Denise Breen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl Howdyshell; grandson Eric James Williams; and sister Darlene Tornai.
