Thurman Stacy

STACY, Thurman - age 80, of Fenton passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Martin Shouse officiating. Visitation will be 12 PM until the time of service Saturday. Contributions may be made in honor of Thurman by "Paying it Forward to someone in need"! Thurman was born May 20, 1939 in Caretta, WV the son of William and Nellie (Wolford) Stacy. He married Sue Ann Moreland in Flint on April 19, 1960. He was employed by GM as a Tow Motor Driver for 28 years, retiring in 1991. Thurman was an extremely hard worker all his life. He loved classic cars and keeping them clean and shiny! Surviving are : beloved wife, Sue; children, David (Billie) Stacy, Ruth (Matt) Coe, Brenda Newsom, and Fred (Violet) Stacy; grandchildren, Heather, Amanda, Jennifer, Nicole, Ryan, Trevor, and Kelsey; great grandchildren, Gianna, Colton, Lily, Karina, Chayse, Lincoln, and Ellyanna; siblings, Herman, Martha, Paige, Tracy, Donald, and Jimmy; and several nieces and nephews.
