NICOLAI, Agnes Ellen - Age 95, of Linden, died March 21, 2013. Visitation will be 12-8PM Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. No formal funeral services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to Hope Lutheran Church or The American Kidney Foundation. Agnes was born December 8, 1917 in Hastings, the daughter of Lawrence and Hannah Ellen (Smith) Royer. She was married to Edward R. Nicolai on March 27, 1942; he preceded her in death on November 8, 2000. Agnes was employed by Hudsons, retiring in 1978. She was a member of Loose Senior Center and Hope Lutheran Church. Surviving are: daughter, Carol A. (Thomas) Springer; grandchildren, Lisa A. Hinds, Scott T. (Chris) Springer; great-grandchildren, Allison, Daniel, Erik and Michael. sisters, Ruby Barnes and Wilma Foster; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Edward N. Nicolai and Dennis Nicolai; daughter, Linda Nicolai; sisters, Margaret Coats and Grace Aloerding; brothers, Loy and Emerson Royer.
