DIEDRICH, Alan David - Age 39, of Supply, NC formerly of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 in North Carolina. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:00 PM Friday, September 6, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Road, Flint. Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint Thursday from 5-9 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 8:00 PM and at the church Friday from 1:30 PM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Redeemer Outreach. Alan was born January 5, 1974 in Garden City, the son of Bernard G. and Karen S. (Jacobs) Diedrich. He was a 1992 graduated of Swartz Creek High School and a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University. Surviving are: his parents, Bernard and Karen Diedrich of Swartz Creek; 4 siblings, Joseph and wife Mishelle Diedrich of Hurricane, WV, Gregory and wife Theresa Diedrich of Ann Arbor, Edward Diedrich of Appleton, WI, and Stephanie and husband Jason Youngs of Grand Blanc; grandparents, Bernard and Marjorie Diedrich of Sarasota, FL; special friend, Carrie Barnes of Supply, NC; several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins.
