CRITTENDEN, Albert Dean - age 81, of Fenton, passed away, Tuesday June 11, 2024. A Celebration of Life Gathering for Albert will take place at a later date. His resting place will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly.
Albert was born February 18, 1943 in Flint, the son of Ollie Ray and Carrol (Slosser) Crittenden. Albert attended Kearsley High School before serving 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. He married Janet Jankowski in Flint, November 11, 1989. He retired as a Truck Driver from K & K Excavating after many years of service. Albert enjoyed spending time as a member of the Loose Senior Center in Linden. He enjoyed shopping at garage sales, always looking for a bargain. Albert also enjoyed fishing, playing cards (euchre) and animals, especially dogs; he always carried doggie treats with him.
Albert is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter, Rejeana (Andrew) Chizek; granddaughter, Amanda Mills; sister, Audrey Bearup; step-children, Rynea (Kevin) Williams, Joanna (Chris) Escamilla, Matt (Jennifer) Batson; grandchildren, Crystal, David, Benjamin, Sidney, Katerina, and Ava; great grandchildren, Daniel, and Sterling; several nieces and nephews.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, brother in law Curtis Bearup, and beloved "buddy," Lucky. Online tributes may be shared at sharpfuneralhomes.com
