HONEYCOMBE, Albert Arthur- Age 93 , of Holly, died April 29, 2024. Private services will be held at a later date. Albert (“Bert”) was born March 11th, 1931 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He served in the Navy during the Korean war from 1951-1954. He married Shirley Honeycombe (Bjorkman) in July of 1955 and raised their family in Clawson. Bert worked for Honeywell as a service representative. After he retired, Bert and Shirley started a craft business, “Honeycombe Crafts” selling woodwork crafts and handmade fused glass jewelry at craft shows. Bert was an avid fisherman and created beautiful paintings. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Shirley Honeycombe and survived by their three children: Keith (Karen) Honeycombe of St. Clair Shores, Diane (Steve) Merian of Warren, and Debbie Honeycombe (Bill Holt) of Holly; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Zack) Toy, Nathan Honeycombe, Jen, Candi and Brian (Tarah) Merian, Lisa (Chris) Fry, Jarrette, Alli (Victor), and Elliott (Reanne) Hinman; and four great grandchildren, Felix and Oliver Fry, Barrett Gardner, and Kane Hinman. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.
