LELONEK, Albert "Ray" - age 61, of Linden, formerly of Brighton, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Carl McCarty III officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Mr. Lelonek was born January 29, 1950 in Highland Park, the son of Albert U. Lelonek and Shirley Jean Coon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Brighton Area Schools in 2007 after 32 years of service. Surviving are: two daughters, Wendy Rains, Candyce (Jason) Smith all of Linden; four grandchildren, Alisa, Brayden, Emma, and Lily; father, Albert U. Lelonek; four sisters; two brothers; aunt, Wanda "Granny" Nash. His mother preceded him in death. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
