Albert Michael McBride, of Flint, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at McLaren Hospital in Flint. He was 78 years old.

Born November 5, 1947, in St. Louis, Michigan, he was one of six children born to Bernard F. and Emma E. (Franz) McBride. He graduated from St. Louis High School and then attended Michigan State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 1970. On August 7, 1971, he married Pamela J. Hill in Pontiac. Albert retired from McNaughton- McKay Electric Company where he worked in electrical wholesale. He was a member of South Baptist Church in Flint. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed kayaking and camping, he enjoyed food and fellowship with friends and families and always appreciated a good “sweet”. Most of all he cherished his family and friends.

Albert is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pamela J. McBride; their three children, Mary Kerry and her husband Aaryn of Palmyra, VA, Rebecca King and her husband Matthew of Ontario, Canada, and Philip McBride and his wife Katie of Flushing; nine grandchildren Ashlynn Poland and husband Hunter, Mason Kerry, Addison Kerry, Ava King, Tessa King, Sheperd King, Ezra King, Evan McBride and Grant McBride; and four siblings Jane Brown, Joseph McBride, Margaret Baker and Don McBride; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Walter McBride.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Baptist Church, 4091 Van Slyke Road, Flint, MI 48507.
