TAYLOR-LANNING, Alberta M. - age 95, of Fenton, died Thursday, September 27, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, October 1, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with Pastor Rich Williams officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-5 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to Heritage Baptist Church. Alberta was born December 11, 1916 in Argentine the daughter of Mahleon and Lottie (Sparks) Wise. She married Earl Lavern Taylor January 14, 1936 and he preceded her in death April 2, 1987, she then married William Thomas Lanning March 5, 1988 and he preceded her in death November 23, 2001. She had resided in Fenton for 74 years. Alberta was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Fenton. Surviving are: three sons, Richard (Willie) Taylor, David (Terry) Taylor and Jack (Kathy Butcher) Taylor all of Fenton; 21 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; step sons, Robert Lanning of Flushing, Arnold Lanning of Flint and Larry (Belinda) Lanning of Grand Blanc; step daughter-in-law, Sue Lanning; four sisters, Dorothy Stiff of Grand Blanc, Roseanne (Mike) Szcodronski of Linden, Florence Sortman of Fenton and June Willliams of Fenton; brother, Ronnie Wise of Holly; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 step-sons, Bill and Donald Lanning; step-daughter, Beverly Clark; sister, Edith Ripley; 3 brothers, Leo, Bill, and Charles Wise.
