Allen Menosky

MENOSKY, Allen Lee "Sandy" - Age 67, of Durand, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at his residence. Memorial luncheon will be held 12 PM - 2 PM Wednesday, March 30 at Flint Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. Interment of cremated remains will follow at 2:30 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Mr. Menosky was born August 9, 1948 in Flint, the son of Steven and Allean (Meachun) Menosky. He was a graduate of Grand Blanc High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Menosky married Deborah Jackson on August 10, 1968 in Flint. He retired from General Motors in 2000 as a Welder. His family and friends knew him as Sandy, a hunter, fisherman, and avid archer. Surviving are: wife, Deborah; two daughters, Michelle (Matthew) Missad of Grand Blanc and Tracy (Scott) Missad of Washington; grandchildren, Heather Shenk (Jon Gall), Whitney (Brian) Kincaid, Nicole Shenk, Jordan Missad, Alex Missad, Adam Missad, Cassie Missad, and Mallory Vander Kolk; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Gall, Camryn Gall, Giulia Gall, Brianna Kincaid, and Ellianna Kincaid; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Chris, Joseph, Richard, and Roger White; daughter, Stephanie.
