Allen Lawrence Vida

It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our brother Allen Lawrence Vida, age 77 of Grand Blanc, MI. Born May 5, 1948 in Detroit, MI.

Allen graduated from Walsh College with an accounting degree. Allen spent time in his young adult years as a manager for the musical group the Blues Magoos, traveling around the country with them. He worked in the Washington D. C. area for years as an accountant, later returning to the Detroit area with his dog, Poo. Allen enjoyed traveling to Thailand. He was an avid reader and enjoyed college football and hockey.

Preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Jessie (Lyall) Vida. Survived by siblings Janice Owens, Thomas & Carol Vida, Ken Vida & Karen Moncrieff, Nancy Vida & Paul Craig. Uncle to Thomas Jr. & Cindy Vida, Gretchen Vida, Kelli Vida-Lambiris & Jason, David & Ryan Fitzpatrick.

There will be no religious service at the request of the deceased. A Celebration of Life will take place at a future date.
