MARTIN, Amy Lynn (Harrod)  Age 28, of Gaines, died Tuesday, June 03, 2003 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, June 6, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Gaines. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Martin Children Educational Fund. Amy was born April 13, 1975 in Flint, the daughter of Bruce Harrod and Crystal Sova. She had resided in Gaines all of her life. Amy was a 1993 graduate of Swartz Creek High School where she was on the Pom-Pom and Cheerleading Squads. She married Stephen Martin on September 30, 1995 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Flint. Amy was a loving mother and her children were most important in her life. Surviving are: husband, Stephen Martin of Gaines; four children, Travis, Hannah, Bailey, and Keirstyn; mother, Crystal and husband, Tony Genovesi; father, Bruce Harrod; three brothers, Bruce Harrod, Antonio Genovesi and Dante Genovesi; sister, Jamie and husband, Jason Hickey; special cousin, Heidi Hall; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by: her infant daughter, Dominique Alexandra Martin on July 3, 1998; grandmother, Alene Sova; cousin, Jim Bouge.
