Mitchell, Amy Jo - Age 51 , of Swartz Creek, died Friday, September 20, 2013. A memorial services will be held 11:00AM Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint. Pastor Andrew Arp officiating. Visitation will be held 10:00AM until time of service at the church. Those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Amy was born in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Gordon and Dorothy (Parsell) Mundy. She married Leonard Mitchell in Flint, Michigan, on October 22, 1983. Amy loved helping others, spending time with her family and being the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews. Amy was a very active member of the Central Church of the Nazarene and coached in the Upwards basketball program. Surviving are: husband, Leonard Mitchell; daughters, Kelly Mitchell, Becky Mitchell , Hannah Mitchell; son Will Mitchell; parents, Gordon and Dorothy Mundy; sisters, Lynn and Gary Ashley of Midland, Karen and Preston Zale of Lake Orion, Cheri and Ron Campbell of South Carolina; brother, Lee and Debbie Mundy of Fenton; many nieces and nephews.
