Andrea Denea Dorr

Surrounded by love, Andrea Denea Dorr of Linden passed peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at University of Michigan Hospital. She was 31 years old.

Born on November 1, 1994, in Flint, she was the daughter of Steven and Carol (Boettge) Dorr. Andrea was a graduate of Linden High School. She was a bright, caring, and giving person whose kind heart and adventurous spirit brought comfort, laughter, and light to those around her.

Andrea found peace in nature and loved spending time outdoors, whether hiking the trails at Deerfield Park, kayaking, or fishing. She also enjoyed working out and devoted time volunteering at the Fenton VFW, where she formed many meaningful friendships.

Though her time here was far too short, Andrea’s love and light will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Dorr; her brother, Steven Dorr; her maternal grandparents, Fred and Sharon Boettge; three uncles, Jim Boettge and his wife Kristine, Bob Boettge and his wife Becky, and Jeff Dorr; one aunt, Janice Messina; as well as numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Steven Dorr; her uncle, Greg Dorr; and her paternal grandparents.

Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Andrea’s life on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fenton VFW, located off N. Leroy Street in Fenton, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
