Andrew Joseph SEFERNICK

SEFERNICK, Andrew Joseph "Andy" -- Age 45, of Gaines, died January 18, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Service will be 3 PM Thursday, January 20 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Lawrence A. Gill and Pastor Douglas Klein officiating . Visitation will be from 12-3 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Andy's Children's College Funds. Andy was born May 4, 1965 in Flint, the son of Bernard and Marilyn Janice (Ward) Sefernick. He married Diane "DeeDee" Marie Burak in Grand Blanc Township on July 24, 1987. He enjoyed building hot rod cars, fishing and trapping but his greatest treasures were his wife and children. Andy worked for Atlas Technologies for the past 23 years. Surviving are: wife, Diane; daughter Melissa; and son, Brian, all of Gaines. Also father, Bernard "Bud" of Flint; sisters, Mary (Steve) Carwile of Swartz Creek, Sally Wenk of Swartz Creek, Nancy (Andy) Tomczyk of Ludington; nieces, Amy and Karyn Tomczyk; nephews, David Carwile, Jeremy Wenk, Joe Tomczyk; brother-in-law Phillip (Andrea) Burak of Flushing and nephew-in-law, Brent Burak.
