Andrew James Torrey

Andrew James Torrey, age 43, of Warren, entered into the arms of Jesus on May 8, 2026.

Andrew was born August 25, 1982 in Flint, Michigan, the son of James Torrey and Laurie (Tice) Torrey. He grew up in Fenton and graduated from Fenton High School in 2001 and later from Mott Community College with an associate degree. Andrew met the love of his life Lauren after multiple social encounters. Andrew enjoyed all types of music and was known for enthusiastically attending live concerts. Andrew loved so many outdoor activities, including kayaking, dangerously-fast skiing, and disc golf. Andrew spent a good deal of his career working at Raymond James in finance.

Andrew is survived by: his beloved wife Lauren; mother Laurie Torrey; father James (Sue) Torrey; father-and mother-in-law Roger and Pamela Doyle; brother Jonathan (Rebecca) Torrey; sister-in-law Christene (Gerald) Klos; step-siblings Mark (Rachael) Gleason; Christina Bissett; Eric Gleason; Matthew (Gladys) Gleason; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Andrew is predeceased by paternal grandparents Sterling and Elizabeth Torrey; and maternal grandparents Norman and Patricia Tice.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes Fenton Chapel, Rev. Robert Lindsay officiating. Visitation is Wednesday, May 13, 5:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, May 14, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Interment will be immediately following the funeral service at Fairview Cemetery in Linden.
