Andrew Lawrence "Larry" Velliky Jr.

VELLIKY Jr., Andrew Lawrence "Larry" - Age 78, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023.  Per Larry's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will occur at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430.  

Larry was born October 6, 1944 in Washington D.C., the son of Andrew Lawrence, Sr and Evelyn M. (Peters) Velliky.  He was a 1962 graduate of East Detroit High School and he received a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.  He married Cheryl Elizabeth Dyke June 23, 1967 in East Detroit.  Larry retired from General Motors as an Engineer; he had also been employed by Ford Motor Company.  He enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles and cooking.  

Surviving are: his wife of 56 years, Cheryl; children, Cristen Velliky (Jim Stenz) of Fenton, Erik Velliky (Valerie Glade) of Denver, CO and Scott Velliky (Andrea) of Howell; grandchildren, Jameson Stenz, Evelyn Velliky and Vincent Velliky; siblings, Sharen Bennett (Neil) of Louden, TN, David Velliky of Osprey, FL and Michael Velliky (Terri) of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.
