Anna Marie Neuens, age 84, of Fenton, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Fenton Assisted Living. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Road, Gaines, MI 48436, with Fr. Arockiyasamy Santhiyagu as celebrant. Rite of committal will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Gaines.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with a rosary prayed at 7:00 PM. On Thursday morning, Anna will be taken to the church to lie in state from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions in Anna's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Anna was born April 11, 1942, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Goczinski) Zyber. She was a 1960 graduate of Flushing High School. Anna worked for General Motors for more than 25 years as an administrator before spending her final five working years as an administrative assistant at Flint Head Start. She retired following her years of dedicated service.
Anna married David Neuens on April 27, 1985, in Flint. She enjoyed singing and playing the organ and piano and especially loved bowling throughout the years.
Anna is survived by her two sons, David (Anita) Tebo and Jeffrey (Kerry) Tebo; two stepchildren, Kristina (John) VanGoethem and Jon Neuens; nine grandchildren, Ryan (Julie) Tebo, Jordan (John) Miller, Jessica Tebo, Elizabeth Harris, Stephanie Tebo, Kenney Field, Amanda (Darko) Field, Abigail VanGoethem, and Margaret VanGoethem; three great-grandchildren, Silas Tebo, Mariana Field, and Olivia Field; sister, Rita Crandell; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Neuens; daughter, Danielle Field; grandson, James "Jimmy" Estrada; parents, Frank and Stella Zyber; and brothers, Ken and Eugene Zyber. Tributes may be shared atwww.sharpfuneralhomes.com
